The epBlue package includes a CD to install epBlue on a second PC. In the name of new labware or new labware combinations are forbidden signs like §,& or others. Please, contact your local epMotion Specialist to repair that.
Do not close the "Signature" dialog for the log file until the last required signature has been completed.
Export ID lists in advance as files Do not minimize the epBlue window when the simulator is active
Close the application before deactivating the labware.
Do not remove the backup medium during the backup. The importer outputs a corresponding text notification so the user can modify his applications. DMSO can be pipet with the Liquid type "Alcohol 98%", see Application note 155. In the parameters of a command you can find the point "Options". Under this point is the"Liquid type". Under "Liquid type" you can click on the point "Change parameter".Then you can change the preprogrammed values till you find the optical parameters for the particular liquids. No, it isn't possible. But you have the possibility to replace the Refresher 1 device and get back a Refresher 2 version 5070 at extra charge. Yes, it's possible, if you work with the Thermoadapter "Frosty" (Order no.5075 789.000). No, you can integrate Thermomodules in epMotion 5075, only. You can find it under www.epmotion.com. Yes, the epMotion 5075 can transport plates and other things, also it can change the tools automatically. The epMotion 5070 is a semi-automatically system and not able to transport labware. The working area contains 4 positions. Also, the epMotion 5070 has 3 virtual places outside of the device (Park positions). DMSO can be pipet with the Liquid type "Alcohol 98%", see Application note 155. Yes, it is. The LH version is upgradable to VAC or MC version anytime. Yes, it's possible. Therefore you need the Software and Hardware Upgrade Set 1, Order no. 5075 851.440. In the parameters of a command you can find the point "Options". Under this point is the"Liquid type". Under "Liquid type" you can click on the point "Change parameter".Then you can change the preprogrammed values till you find the optical parameters for the particular liquids. Yes, it's possible, if you work with the Thermoadapter"Frosty" Order no.5075 789.000 Yes, you can integrate up to 3 Thermomodules in epMotion 5075. You can find it under www.epmotion.com. Yes, it's possible, to work with different epMotion racks in different sizes. Also it's possible to work with rack from other manufacturer, if they are in SBS format. Yes, the epMotion 5075 can transport plates and other things, also it can change the tools automatically.. The epMotion 5070 is a semi-automatically system and not able to transport labware. The optical sensor has three different functions. 1. To scan number of tips and kind of boxes. 2. Labware recognition on the worktable. 3. Amount of liquid in different tubes.
The viral LB (lysis Buffer) contains significant amount of Carrier RNA, which will be measured by UV-Vis analysis. A better way of quantification for viral RNA/DNA is real-time PCR. Such ratio between 2.0 and 2.2 can be an indication for RNA contamination of the gDNA.
When comparing different kits and methods it is important to measure the same samples at the same time. White blood cell content varies significantly from sample to sample and from day to day. Replace the elution buffer of the MagSep reagent kit with destilled water. The tips can be maximal 6 times be re-used. CleanCap, UV-HEPA can not added later. The option need to be ordered upfront and is then manufectured with the specific system. The tips can be maximal 6 times be re-used. The carrier RNA is synthetic poly(-A) RNA: (poly(A) potassium salt, prepared from ADP with polynucleotide phosphorylase). Yes, but after the purification some residual heparine might be present in the gDNA eluat. To minimze heparine influence in downstream assays we recommend to dilute the eluate by 1 to 10 with PCR grade water. Within a +/- 10 % volume tolerance of the blood sample is ok for usage with the MagSep blood gDNA kit. If the volume is below 180 µl we recommend to fill up by PBS buffer to 200 µl.
Yes, you can do that with the MagSep tissue kits. Yes, MagSep tissue gDNA is compatible with bacterial DNA (but not directly for plasmid prep). 1 TS_50, 1 TS_300, waste tub, Thermoblock 96, rack for 0,5/1,5 and 2 ml tubes and 25 adapter for 0,5 ml reaction tubes. Yes, it is possible to integrate one thermomodule. No it is not possible to integrate a thermomodule, because it is not enough space. No, it is not possible to have both modules in one system. Proteinase K is biological material purified from the origin Tritirachium album. It is not genetically modified. Shut down and switch on the device, again and the new labware datafiles are visible. Shut down and switch on the device, again and the new labware datafiles are visible. Create a folder first and then create an application, otherwise the new application could not save. Create a folder first and then create an application, otherwise the new application could not save. Yes, the batch-specific purity grades can be downloaded at www.eppendorf.com/certificates.
Due to the modularization of purity grades, some products are labeled with more than one purity grade symbol. For example, the epDualfilter T.I.P.S. has the double seal "PCR clean "+ "Sterile" and the UVette the double seal "PCR clean" + "Protein-free" on the packing. The certification remains unaffected by the modularization. All products certified with "PCR clean" are tested free of human DNA, DNase, RNase and PCR inhibitors. The following applies from our point of view: Where no human DNA is detected, there can also be no RNA, which is considerably more unstable. The previous purity grades were developed due to customer requirements and new applications, in the course of the years. To meet the customer requirements for single applications even better, Eppendorf has extended the certification of the purity grades "Sterile" (now, also certified as free of pyrogenes) and "Biopur" (now, also certified as free of DNase and PCR inhibitors). In addition, the previous purity grades have been transferred to a new modular system that provides the same variety and flexibility and yet is readily understandable. No, they are the same products as before, i.e. all specifications as dimensions remain the same. Only the packing has changed, due to the new seals. In addition, the certification of "Sterile" and "Biopur" has been extended but the entire production process was maintained. For all purity grades, there will be new packing seals. In addition, there will be a further certification for the purity grades "Sterile" and "Biopur". "Sterile" will certify sterility and also the freedom of pyrogenes. The purity grade "Biopur" also includes the freedom of DNase as well as of PCR inhibitors. |
