With the aim of encouraging and supporting outstanding work of promising young scientists, Eppendorf awards two research prizes.

Eppendorf Award for Young European Investigators

The Eppendorf Award for Young European Investigators is presented to young scientists for outstanding achievements in the field of biomedical research based on methods of molecular biology. The Award is presented in partnership with the scientific journal Nature.

International Eppendorf & Science Prize for Neurobiology

The International Eppendorf & Science Prize for Neurobiology is awarded annually to one young scientist for the most outstanding neurobiological research based on methods of molecular and cell biology conducted by him/her during the past three years.
